I like having the top of the swiffer covered so as to dust the underneath of furniture & cabinets. For once, I'm looking forward to finding worn-out socks. lol.<br />I also use Zorbies (like Sham-wows), cut to fit as swiffer cloths; they do better for dry sweeping than mopping.<br />Old washrags work well, as do foldable cloth diapers - the extra absorbent pad in the middle makes a great mopper.<br />Homemade cleaners are far preferable, imo. I can change the scent at will, & I know what goes into the cleaner - vinegar & extracts, or an H2O2 solution. No unknown surficants or synthetic fragrance for me..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
